THE REMARKABLE JAYROCKSTAR - O LETS DO IT VISUAL

A couple days ago I heard a song that caught my ear. It was an "O lets Do it" freestyle by Jay Rockstar. I dont know who was the camera man but Im diggin the video as well as the lyrics. Jay gets props on the fashion side as well by the way. The BBC running dog jeans are a smooth look. Wore mines yesterday. Anyway.. Look out for his mixtape called Daddy's Home Vo. 1. Hit him up on his twitter (@JAYROCKSTARTV) to keep up with his music. But w/ out further a-do,

34D!

Tonight I enjoyed a nice night at Starbucks downtown Brooklyn with DeaPierre. The creator of the clothing line "34D". The name comes from the bra size of Dea herself. I find that creative. She has a great perception of art and fashion. Some of the designs for the shirts are a tad raw but so is G-Star lol. But seriously, check her out at DeaPierre4@34Dbrand.com

FREE WEEZY!

Shoutouts to one of the people I consider a rap ion. Lil Wayne is one of the best rappers of my time. Its funny because it seems like his success has been increasing ever since he said "Bling Bling". I remember when The Carter 3 was about to drop and it has been anticipated for soooo long. I was wondering what he was going to sound like because he had a new "New York" flow from collaborating with Dipset in 06-07. With his most recent album "Rebirth" it showed his rockstar lifestyle side. I think that was a good move o n his part. It only helped him gain a new fan-base. More fans adding to the millions of people that already love Weezy. I heard one of his newest songs a while ago. Its called "Above it" and its featuring Drake. Wayne bodied it but I heard Drake say his verse before. Dont get me wrong its cool but I was  hoping for a new verse.Im not to sure if the song is going to be a single off of his new album or not but reguardless its still hard.

Finally Famous Ni**a!

Big Sean, raised in Detroit is one of the youngest signed to Kanye West's record label (G.o.o.d Music), but age is hardly a matter when listening to his lyrics. His debut album is expected to drop this September. Honestly, I think some people are sleeping on him. With other young rappers in his age bracket like Drake and JCole, Big Sean doesnt have as much buzz as they do at the time. However being on songs with Drake, Kanye, XV, and destroying his own songs, I think he'll show that he is not to be underestimated. I quote Sean .."Broads over Niggas, But business over broads. See business equals money, and money is over all." Its quite clear he has a somewhat elevated mind state from some other rappers on the rise right now. Thats about it for now. He has alot of cool songs that are in my opinion certified hits lol. Check out "Getcha Some, "HighRise" and "Made it" feat. Drake. Thats not even scratching the surface of this rapper's portfolio. Hit me up and tell me what you think about him. Shoutouts to D- town !

Chritian Louboutins

This post is mainly to pay tribute to the Christian Louboutin shoes. I personally love outrageous looking shoes for the most part. Some may not admire the studs on the body of the shoe but I think its a well needed stretch in the shoe design. Alot of lines have been making their shoes similar to Maison Martin Margiela. The price range for these guys are generally 1000$. Not COMPLETELY outrageous for a price right? Although the shoes add a certain persona to your wardrobe, a tip I give to anyone with these or planning to get these shoes is to not overdue the outfit. A nice pair of jeans with a basic V- Neck tee shirt will be fashionable enough for the occasion.Speaking of which Pharrell Williams demonstrated the look a while ago

Money to Blow

You may have heard about Birdman ( CEO of Cash Money records) purchasing a new veyron red Bugatti. Its a classy yet flashy car that gives a new meaning to the phrase "burning rubber" . After a while of driving it at it's maximum speed, the tires may actually get damaged. The price is currently 2.1 million dollars! Fortunately, that is but a minor charge for "cash money millionaire" Bryan Williams.

Pharrell x Louis Vuitton

Its hard to even begin talking about Pharrell Williams just because of what he has accomplished in the previous years. By being a h ousehold name in the music industry, one of the greatest music producers of my time and simply having an outstanding taste in fashion already puts him at a place where not alot of people go. As if him being affiliated with some of the best in the music industry such as Nas, Jay-Z, Q-Tip, Snoop Dogg, and many more he has also broke barriers into being one of the few African American males in the music industry that has a deal with Louis Vuitton. From Bags to shoes Pharrell has done it. Now-a-days, Mr. Williams has a line of jewlery for the Louis Vuitton line. The Luois Vuitton "Basel" rings is an instant classic piece from LV. In my opinion they are in another calibur then those other pieces LV has came out with. Heres just a preview of the ring itself...

Kanye West is back!

Kanye West made a great comeback with his first single "Power" off of his upcoming album "Good Ass Job". Now we all know how Kanye is how his music has the ability to move people.Im personally hyped about the fact that Kanye is back to his old rapping, lyrical swagg. Dont get me wrong, "808's and Heartbreaks" was a phenominal album, but nothing beats a nicely constructed album from Ye' that involves great worldplay and alot of good produced songs from Ye' himself. Its safe to say that this album is anticipated

Fitting the Crown

Throughout history, some of the greatest minds have been compared to a supreme being, or in some ways put on a pedistle such as kings. There have been times when "kings" abuse their power and become tyrants from being in control. Unfortunately that is not a humble state of mind. Sometimes people mistake being obnoxious for having ambition. My hat goes off to the people that consider their power as a privaledge as oppsed to being an obligation. I quote Dr. Martin Luther King "If a man can't discover what there is to die for, then a man cant live". Thats a good point. I discovered what there is to die for. The other half of the battle is actually obtaining it...
